Stubbornness

Stubbornness. We all have it to some degree. I have more of it than I would like to admit. I think sometimes we have it because we feel that if we dont, we are a push over and others will get what they want. But is it always about us? Is it always about being right, or is it about doing the right thing, with our without recognition? Because of our stubbornness, we argue, get nasty and turn our backs on the people we love and care about. After we have a confrontation, we usually feel like we were right and the other person just wont understand or perhaps will never understand our view point. Yes, our view is important and our feelings and emotions are important, but so are theirs. We usually never take their side into consideration. I am so glad that Christ does take our side into consideration and pleads on our behalf to the Father! Because of His unending and relentless love, we are safe in His arms and God the Father sees us, He doesnt see the stubborn man or woman, the sinful man or woman, but He sees His Son! Dude! Thats awesome!! Now I could go on and on about God not counting mans sins against them, but I have limited time right now, so Ill have to save that entry for another time.
